About

The California Junior College Lacrosse Association (CJCLA) is dedicated to expanding junior college lacrosse opportunities for the student-athletes of California. Membership in the CJCLA is open to any California junior college lacrosse program that is officially recognized as a student club by their institution. Our mission is to provide new program assistance and consultation, student-athlete eligibility requirements, and hosting of the CJCLA Championship Tournament at the conclusion of the regular season.

Student-athletes are eligible to play in the CJCLA provided they meet the following criteria:

  • Currently enrolled in 6 or more credits at the participating institution.
Exception: If student-athlete’s home institution (2-year college only) does not have a CJCLA program, athlete may participate with a separate member school. In this case, student-athlete must be enrolled in at least one credit at team sponsoring institution and a minimum of six total credits between both institutions.
  • Has not exhausted eligibility of collegiate participation:
3 Years of play allowed at the JUCO level
    4 Years total collegiate participation
