  • Wesley Greason (#30), former leading scorer for the Vikings last fall has picked up with Chapman right where he left off with DVC, by leading the current #1 team in the nation (MCLA Division 1) in total points with eight goals and five assists in the first three games.  In those games, Chapman has outscored their opponents (Cal, Sonoma State and University of Florida) 46-15.   • On a beautiful December 5th afternoon at Santa Barbara City College (SBCC), the host Vaqueros sought to dethrone the Diablo Valley College (DVC) Vikings, who were in search of their third consecutive CJCLA championship.  The game started at 3:00 p.m., and saw the fired up Vaqueros score the first goal of the game.  After the Vikings tied the score, the relentless SBCC squad once again scored to take a 2-1 lead late in the first quarter.  Prior to the end of the quarter DVC managed to tie the

  • On May 3, 2014, the Nevada-Reno Wolf Pack won their first ever WCLL Division II championship with tight wins over last year’s champion UC Santa Cruz and San Jose State University. A unique characteristic of the Nevada-Reno team is that Coach Chris Tatro recruited six former California community college players, five from Diablo Valley College and one from American River College.
